His parents, Reginald and Dorothy Sydnor, moved the family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1955 where his father was an architect. Mr. Sydnor talks about growing up in central Phoenix and Paradise Valley and discusses the changes he has witnessed in the Phoenix area. He talks about the need for historic preservation in Arizona and the creation of the Scottsdale Preservation Office. Mr. Sydnor talks about his most recent project, the City of Scottsdale Appaloosa Library.
